Venue - 3rd Austrian Calculus of Variations Day


The whole event will take place at the Campus Gußhaus of TU Wien, in the building Neues EI. The entrance to the meeting is located
Gußhausstraße 27-29
, 1040 Vienna (Google Maps).

The meeting will take place in the
Kontaktraum
on the 6th floor (Room CD 06 03). At the main entrance you will find some signposts to that room.

The meeting room has approximately 90 seats. Please be aware of the fact that
the room has no blackboard
(please prepare slides for your talk).

The closest stops of public transport are:
  • the metro stop of
    Karlsplatz
    of the lines U1 and U4 - you shall follow the signs to exit to Karlsplatz in order to minimize your travel time - from there it takes 10 minutes to get to the workshop venue by foot;
  • the tram stations of
    Oper, Karlsplatz
    (10-15 minutes by foot to the workshop venue) and
    Resselgasse
    (5-10 minutes by foot).
Please be aware that the metro line U2 is currently being renovated between
Karlsplatz
and
Schottentor
, so it is not halting in any of the stations
Karlsplatz
,
Museumsquartier
, and
Rathaus
- it is replaced by the tram line EZ2.
