The simplest and closer option is the
mensa
which is located on the ground floor of the building (there you can get drinks, sandwiches and cakes from 08:30 to 16:00 on Thursday and from 08:30 to 15:00 on Friday; lunch time is from 11:30 to 14:00). The menu is available at mensen.at (from the popup in the homepage or from the upper menu, you shall choose "Standort auswählen" then the location Salzburg / Uni Salzburg Mensa & M-Cafe NaWi).
The following 3
supermarkets
are at walking distance from the department:
- Eurospar and Hofer, both located at the Zentrum Herrnau, in Alpenstraße 48, about 10 minutes walk;
- Spar (located in Nonntaler Hauptstraße 78), about 15 minutes walk.
The following 2
restaurants
are also both located at the Zentrum Herrnau (Alpenstraße 48), about 10 minutes walk from the department:
- La Cantinetta;
- Raschhofer's Rossbräu.
Unfortunately, there are almost no restaurants closer to the department. The mensa is therefore the closer option.
